KS4 Families of Schools and SSIF Bid 2
I hope you had a good weekend.
Just a reminder to all our Secondary Colleagues, the Families of Schools event for KS4 is running on Thursday 8th February at mac Birmingham (Midlands Arts Centre) starting at 9.00am. This is a FREE event and was highly successful for Primary colleagues. We would welcome a representative from every secondary school in the city. Professor David Woods will be presenting and it will give you a chance to look at the data and to meet the other schools in your family. Currently, 14 schools will be represented and we are hoping for at least 70. To book on please click the button below.
An update on SSIF bid Round 2; we have received a response to say that our bid requires additional information and this will have to go back before the panel to ensure that it is ‘fit for purpose’ before being told if it is successful. However, we are still running the reading launch on Tuesday 13th February at mac Birmingham and every school in the bid, all NLE’s involved in it and all partner schools as well as the schools in the Secondary pilot need to be there. One person from each school is then invited to attend the following session, from 10.00 – 16.00. This session will be the first Reading CPD day of the bid and will be led by Tony Whatmuff. Details of this session can be found in the attached invitation and agenda.
If you haven’t already booked on please do so by clicking the button below.
So its back to more ‘creative’ writing for me!
Have a good week everyone and you know where we are if you need anything.
