Well its KS2 SATs week!!!

Good Morning Everyone,

Well for the first time our Y6 children don’t start the week with the reading paper, that joy is tomorrow! Look at what’s in store for today!! A colleague sent me this and I smiled at the irony!!

A couple of weeks ago I was at a conference where I heard Diana Sutton from ‘The Bell Foundation’ talk about ‘free’ EAL assessment frameworks for schools that can be used in both Secondary and Primary. I am sorry if you all already know about such things, as I never want to ‘teach grandma to suck eggs!’ However, I don’t want to assume that all of you hear about everything.

So please see below the link to the tool. It includes a video clip, user guides and the framework itself.  Please let me know if you think it’s useful.

In the meantime, my very best wishes to every one of you as the exam machine moves into full throttle!  You know where I am if you need me.

My very best wishes to you all
