Life after SATs

Good Morning Everyone,

I saw the above quote last week on twitter and I thought how applicable it was for all of you as you support our young people through the myriad of tests and exams going on at the moment. So many of them lack confidence in themselves and your belief in them is what carries them through.

Just to prove there is life after SATs we are holding a primary broad and balanced curriculum event on June 7th at Aston Villa, 12.30-3.30. It is a chance for you to get back to doing what you do best and that is providing a wonderful rich curriculum.

It is being led by Johanne Clifton from Billesley primary and looks at how the wider curriculum is reported on by Ofsted and then there are a series of table workshops from our wider curriculum team: The Arts, PE and sport, mental health, and global issues. It is a real chance for you to find out useful organisations and resources which could help you. The event is just £50 or FREE for BEP Enhanced Members. To sign up please use the button below.

In the meantime, have a good week everyone and enjoy a well-earned rest over half term.  You know where I am if you need anything.

My very best wishes to you all
